Krishna Prema's Food for Thought - Message from 26.12.2020
Dear Devotees, Dear Friends, and Dear Reader of my Blog ‚Food for Thought‘,
It has been a long time since I have written or published anything. Somehow I felt the need to take a break from writing, sharing, and from Social Media in general.
2020 was, for many of us, a tough year. I personally went through a lot of challenges. So much so that it took all my time and energy to deal with the inner and external storms in my life.
But it's these storms that make us who we are. As an African proverb says: „Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors“ In that sense, 2020 taught me probably more lessons than any other year in my life.
It was a tree that caught my attention this afternoon at Japa Walk (see picture). That tree had obviously gone through many hardships and almost did, but somehow life continued and brought about new beauty and strength.
During this walk along the enchanting scenery of Greifensee, a lake and nature reserve close to my hometown when I felt an inspiration to start again sharing some „Food for Thought".
Most probably, it won't be a weekly blog as I did in the past. But I will start to write something here and there.
The upcoming new year will bring about a lot of change in my life. I am excited about it and look forward to a new beginning. Certainly there will be new difficulties as well, but with them also new lessons, new insights, and certainly many opportunities to take shelter in Krishna.
I wish you all a good start into the new year and all the best for your life's journey.
Krishna Premarupa Dasa
